Strength, balance to be topics
"Strength & Balance Essentials for Maintaining Independence" is the subject of an upcoming Lunch & Learn opportunity in Calumet County.
Nancy Krueger, health and wellness coordinator for the Aging and Disability Resource Center serving Calumet, Outagamie and Waupaca counties, will show people eight moves (four strength and four balance) that can help people to maintain functional independence and mobility as well as prevent them from falling.

Tuesday, July 14, lunch and presentation 11 a.m., Stockbridge Village Hall, 116 S. Military
Tuesday, July 14, lunch 11:30 a.m., presentation to follow, Sherwood Community Center, W489 Clifton Rd.
Wednesday, July 20, presentation 11:15 a.m., lunch to follow, Brillion Community Center, 120 Center St.
Tuesday, July 21, lunch 11:30 a.m., presentation to follow, Hilbert Village Hall, 26 N. Sixth St.
Wednesday, Aug. 5, lunch 11:45 a.m., presentation to follow, Chilton City Hall, 42 School St.
To order lunch, call the ADRC at 849-1451 no later than noon the day before. A donation of $3.50 is appreciated.
