Mount Calvary shows set to open on Friday
Officials of Pankratz Arts Exchange, Inc., a young, charitable non-profit arts organization established in 2011, are announcing their fourth summer season, "Kaleidoscope!"
This music revue show features a talented local cast of seven ladies and four gentlemen, ages 16-24, from the surrounding areas of Plymouth, Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Chilton, Eden, and Mayville, who sing and dance their way through many music genres-standards, jazz, country, pop, rock n' roll, Motown and disco-with the creative theme of every song having a color in its title, hence, the show title Kaleidoscope!
The audience will hear over 60 songs such as "Brown-Eyed Girl," "Blue Moon," "Blue Skies," and many many more. The cast functions as a semi-professional company for the summer season, and have been rehearsing for over one month, specifically, 20 plus hours a week for this presentation.
PAE takes pride in high quality production using special effect lighting, a pristine sound system, and a multitude of costumes, along with highly qualified choreographers and directors. The organization relies solely on sponsors, donors, and the support of the community, its mission to promote arts appreciation and awareness by providing high quality arts performance and education opportunities in the community for all people.
PAE officials said they are forever grateful for all patrons in attendance for this season and its summer sponsors: Advanced Tooling, Inc. (Mt. Calvary), Burg Homes & Design (Fond du Lac), C.D. Smith Construction, Delta Publications, Inc., D' Signs, Unlimited, LLC (Fond du Lac), Flood Oil (Eden), Hometown Bank (Fond du Lac and St. Cloud), Quality Cut (Mount Calvary), Schenck Business Solutions (Fond du Lac), Schrage Brothers (Mount Calvary), Smith & Hatch Insurance (Eden), Specht Electric (Sheboygan) and Sunny 97.7/WFDL (Fond du Lac).
The venue where these arts performances are presented is Maximillian's Special Events Hall in Mount Calvary. PAE likes to call it the "diamond in the rough" for its intimate dinner show setting, seating no more than 200 at a time, and European decor. Dinner show services by Red Cabin at Green Acres (Fond du Lac) help bring an atmosphere that one will not forget, and for certain will want to return. The dinner that is featured 90 minutes before the shows is a family style meal for a sense of community in sharing with family and friends. There is a detailed menu on pae.ticketleap.com. There is no need to get up to get to the show seat either, as people view the show promptly after their meal at the same table. Red Cabin has not forgot about dessert-at intermission they feature their award winning bread pudding and a multi-layered strawberry shortcake. Show only options are also available.
Friday evening dinner is at 6:30 p.m. with shows at 8 p.m. July 10 to Aug. 28. There is one matinee show on Sunday, Aug. 23, a brunch show for those who love bloody Mary's and mimosas before the show. Brunch is at 12:30 p.m. with the show at 2 p.m.
For tickets order online at pae.ticketleap.com, call (920) 960-9357, or stop in at Red Cabin at Green Acres to pick up tickets. All dinner show tickets require 48 hours before purchase. Show only tickets are available pre-purchased or at the door.
